The Holy month of Ramzan will begin on 11th March and will end on 9th April 2024.

Ramzan is an Islamic festival, that aims to reflect on self by offering prayers to God and fasting for the well-being of themselves.

Ramzan or Ramadan is also considered a way of connecting with the God.

Here are 7 Things One Must Restrain themselves during the fasts of Ramadan

1) Don't intentionally hurt someone as this is the month of reflection. Kindness and consideration are greatly appreciated. 

2) Don't break the fast intentionally

3) Asking someone why or why not are they fasting is considered rude and could also be hurtful, so restrain from asking whether or not they are on a fast or not.

4) The first meal of the day also known as Suhoor should be consumed before dawn.  For Instance before 6 am in the morning.

5) Behaving unduly and rudely is equally considered breaking the fast.

6) A Ramadan Fast refers to eliminating negative thoughts, and physical desires and also cutting on food until the day-break or the considered time to break the fast.

7) Listening to Music is also prohibited during Ramadan Fasts.

 Islam and Non-Islam practitioners are allowed to fast as long as they follow the rituals duly.
